Whale watching trip!
I’m sitting at 7-eleven, availing myself of their air-con and wifi while waiting for my train to arrive at the station down the road. I’m going whale watching tomorrow! Heading north to Hualien tonight, staying in a hostel, and the going out on a boat tomorrow morning for a couple of hours. I’ve never been whale watching, but I’m not sure if I’m more excited to (hopefully) see some whales, or to get out on the open ocean…it’s going to be a lot of fun, either way.
I’ll try to get pictures up after this weekend.

Vacation…
I’m taking a few days to just chill. I went up to Dajia to hang with the Wolfley’s for the weekend, and I’ll head back home Monday ‘cuz I don’t have to work then. Sometimes, it’s just good to get away :)

Yeah, so…
It’s been a rather long time since I’ve posted, well…much of anything. Have I posted anything? I really don’t think I have…maybe a couple reblogs, which totally don’t count. There’s a reason, I promise.
I have a girlfriend! Yeah…no big surprise, Caroline and I are official. So…I’ve been spending most of my internet time talking to her instead of posting here, and I refuse to feel bad for that :D
Taiwan is still trucking’ along. I’m teaching quite a bit, tutoring a few hours every week, loving life. I went to Thailand a couple of months ago. I had to leave the country to renew my visa, so King Car (the sponsoring foundation) paid for a trip for me and a bunch of the other teachers to spend some time at a mountain school, teaching for a few days and touring as well. Thailand is beautiful. The mountains, the temples, the people. It was all pretty amazing.
I’m ready to come home. It’s been a long 9 months, and I’m ready to come home. I will be sad to go. I’m building relationships with people here and I’m going to miss living here, but I’m ready to come home. Ask me questions, and I’ll answer them…I’m a little bit brain-dead from studying web design - I’m trying to learn html5 and css3 and javascript all at once - it’s a bit taxing.
